Avalon Park Group Exercise Classes

We offer over 45 group exercise classes throughout the week for all ages and abilities, including Cycle, HIIT, and Strength, plus Kids Fitness for the little ones. YogaZumba®, and Active Older Adults are some of our most popular classes.

Our group exercise instructors are highly trained to provide those seeking a healthy lifestyle with a safe environment and effective exercise programs. Instructors facilitate class connections and create opportunities for storytelling and relationship building.

Active Older Adult Fit
A low-impact class that offers a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activities for daily living. A chair is available if needed for seated and standing support.

Barre Fusion
A full-body workout that fuses the best elements of ballet, Pilates, sports conditioning, and stretching for a truly unique and fun experience. This routine will evenly sculpt and quickly transform the entire body, resulting in a toned, trim physique.

High intensity, full-body workouts targeting the major muscle groups of the upper and lower body. Participate in circuit-style routines with traditional boot camp training—each class bringing its own unique challenges.

Cardio Intervals
This cardio conditioning class could include HIIT, plyometrics, step, kickboxing, or other innovative cross-training techniques. Weights and resistance training will also be incorporated into this well-rounded class.

Chair Yoga
A gentle flow of poses and movements to enhance your strength, flexibility, and balance with the aid of a chair. Effective for any age, especially for those who need gentle supportive movement.

Circuit Strength
A fast-paced class where you are divided into small groups, completing a series of exercises for 30- to 90-second intervals. There are multiple stations that combine functional resistance and cardiovascular training to give you a full-body workout—the perfect combination for strengthening your heart and muscles.

Take your ride indoors as an instructor guides you on an all-terrain journey that will get your heart pumping and challenge you to give a little more. Your low-impact ride will focus on proper cycle technique, body alignment, and cardio drills that will quickly improve your fitness levels.

Cycle Strength
A combination class that improves the strength of heart and body. Challenge your strength through traditional weight room exercises and get your heart pumping with cardio drills on the bike to increase your fitness levels, and change the shape of your body.

H.I.I.T (High-Intensity Interval Training)
Combines calisthenics, polymeric, strength training, and cardio intervals. Exercises are done in timed bursts with short recovery periods.

A cardiovascular and muscle conditioning workout that uses punches and kicks to increase your heart rate. This fun, energizing class offers various levels to meet everyone’s needs.

This class is designed to emphasize core strength, flexibility, and awareness of movement to improve posture and alignment.

A hybrid athletic workout influenced by Yoga and Pilates, this class focuses on principles of stretch, strength training, conditioning, and dynamic movement.

POP Pilates
An incredible fusion of ab-chiseling and total body defining moves choreographed to upbeat pop songs. This intense, mat-based workout challenges students to rhythmically flow from one exercise to the next, developing a rock-solid core while leaving no muscle untouched.

Total-body strength and conditioning group fitness class for anyone looking to get lean, toned, and fit! This motivating, results-driven workout is designed to burn calories and builds muscle using light to moderate weights. It’s perfect for all fitness levels and can be modified so everyone can participate.

Full body 30-minute interval class using increments of 30 seconds. The workout uses various exercises to gain total body strength and endurance as you “stack” sets of work.

Step Strength
A combination class that incorporates strength with step aerobics using different speeds and choreography on and off the step.

Total Body Conditioning
This low-impact class uses free weights, resistance bands, and body weight while incorporating traditional weight room exercises and compound movements to tone and shape your entire body.

A dynamic three-tiered cardiovascular workout that utilizes a variety of training methods for a total body workout that stacks varying interval protocols for a comprehensive training effect.

Treadmill Circuit
Circuit training incorporating the treadmill. Intervals will be done on the treadmill, along with strength and core exercises on the floor.

Create balance by developing both strength and flexibility while you relieve stress, find focus, and achieve peace of mind. The class will focus on stretching, toning, and relaxation.

A dance class that fuses Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a dynamic fitness party atmosphere. Learn the hottest Latin dance while having fun with your closest friends!

Zumba® Gold
For beginners and active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity.
