Swim Lessons

At the Y, we believe drowning is preventable. Swimming is a life skill as well as great exercise and a challenging sport. Swim lessons help children build confidence, independence, and important safety skills in and around the water.

Youth Lessons

Age:  Age 5 years to 12 years

Price: $75 for members and $150 for non-members for 8 lessons.  $38 for members and $75 for non-members for 4 lessons.

Info: Our school age swimming program is comprised of six different stages, ranging from Water Acclimation up to Stroke Mechanics. During swim lessons we focus on nurturing swimming skills, developing self-esteem and engaging in positive experiences. We offer lessons Monday/Wednesdays & Tuesdays/Thursdays.

Teen/Adult Lessons

Age: 13 & up


Info: Adult group lessons are designed to encourage all skill levels. We will help you learn the basics, so you can increase your comfort in the water, learn proper breath control, experience buoyancy and movement in the water. If you need to improve swimming strokes, we work with you on any or all of the four swimming strokes so you can perform them more proficiently and effectively. We are currently only offering private lessons for teen/adults as we are renovating our teaching pool until further notice.

Private/Semi-Private Lessons

Ages: 5 & up

Private Lesson Price: $100/4 lessons or $200/8 lessons  

Semi-Private Lesson Price: $75 per child/4 lessons or $150 per child/8 lessons

Info: Our private swimming lessons designed to help teach water skills and safety. When you opt for private lessons, you will receive personalized, one-on-one coaching from a certified swim instructor who is specially trained in best safety practices. During your private lesson, you will receive all of the focus, which may make learning to swim quicker and easier.


Lap Swimming:

Lap swimming is offered six days a week from Monday-Saturday.  The availability of member lap lanes is subject to change and based on other Y programming in the pool. Members and guests are strongly encouraged to call ahead for lap swimming availability. Come refresh, exercise and enjoy the pool while you work out.  We offer 50-yard lanes and digital pace clocks to help you keep track of your workouts.

Masters Swimming:

We offer masters-level fitness swim times throughout the week: Mondays thru Fridays. Our skilled coaches offer a supportive atmosphere for swimmers of all skill levels.  Whether you are a novice, fitness seeker, or a seasoned athlete, our program offers something for you. Try it!
