Group Exercise

Y’s offer classes for all ages, all levels, and all interests. With trained and passionate group exercise trainers, and a fun and supportive environment, you’ll find a fun class to help you reach your health and wellness goals. Classes include Yoga, Zumba, Tai Chi, Strength Training, Cardo, and more!

Tai Chi: An ancient Chinese practice that improves flexibility, agility, and balance. It is also a mental, spiritual and emotional exercise.

Strength Training: Increase muscular strength and endurance by performing complex movements with dumbbells, barbells, bands, and body weight resistance.

Yoga: A gentle stretch to enhance breath control and core strength. Yoga also promoted mental, physical and spiritual awareness

Interval Training: A high intensity interval class with either repetition scheme or times intervals to challenge your strength and cardiovascular fitness

Chair Yoga: Practice Yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation, and relaxation techniques from a chair. This class offers all the benefits of regular Yoga with a proper movement of the body and optimum flexibility and health.

Zumba: Dance fitness class set to Latin and International rhythmic beats. Come dance yourself into shape!

Senior Fitness: A full body workout for active older adults using light weights, resistance bands, and exercise balls.

Deep Water Fitness: Stay healthy with this low impact class that takes place in the Dive Well. Experience improvements of joint stability, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance. Class may incorporate the use of water dumbbells and flotation belts.


Racquetball

Racquetball is a popular indoor racquet sport where players use a specially designed racket to play with a hollow rubber ball in an indoor or outdoor court. We have one court available and reservations can be made.


Personal Training

Personal Training is a one-on-one, one hour time with a personal fitness trainer. Our personal trainers are educated professionals often with years of experience who can help any YMCA member. YMCA personal trainers come from as many different backgrounds and walks of life as our members do, and we take great care in matching members with the right personal trainer.


Fitness Center

The Wellness Center at our YMCA includes exercise machines, stretching areas, free weights and a weight room. You can achieve a complete workout at our Wellness Center—blending flexibility, strength and endurance. Take a class, train with friends, work out on the wellness floor—try it all. Have fun while strengthening your body and mind in an encouraging environment at the Rosen YMCA Aquatic Center.
