Where kindness is part of our playbook.
What does it mean to be part of a team? It means always playing to win, but never forgetting about who you’re playing with. Trying your best, and bringing the best out of those around you. And remembering that sometimes, being the strongest player has nothing to do with putting up the most points. These are the lessons kids learn when then they play sports at the Y. Sure, they’ll practice shooting straight, swinging strong and driving forward with everything they’ve got. But they’ll also develop strong values, like kindness, integrity and patience, that they can put into practice every day. So they can play and live their best — even when Coach isn’t watching.
