YMCA Teen Achievers is open to middle and/or high school students from all social, economic and academic levels. Students must have a desire to pursue post secondary education such as 2 and 4-year college or universities, armed forces and technical schools.
Group mentoring exposing students to diverse college and career options
Seminars facilitated by adult mentors that provide intense college readiness
Students develop a positive sense of self and raise their academic expectations
Seminars designed to build character and help students make positive life choices
Annual local and out of state college tours available to qualified students
The Board of Directors for the YMCA of Central Florida Teen Achievers are proud to present the YMCA Teen Achievers 3-on-3 Hoop-A-Thon. This fundraising event will be held on October 19, 2019 at the Tangelo Park YMCA from 9am-3pm. All proceeds and donations will provide students in Teen Achievers with an opportunity to attend the 2020 Spring Break College & Cultural Tour which will take place in Louisiana and Mississippi.
