Resident Camps

Camp Wewa

YMCA Camp Wewa is an overnight resident camp and year-round outdoor education facility operated by the YMCA of Central Florida! Children and teens have a fully immersive opportunity to build new lifelong friendships, develop skills in the outdoors, and discover their sense of self. YMCA Camp Wewa provides a safe, exciting environment for participants to grow in mind, body, and spirit through our transformative approach to teaching athletic, camping, artistic, and leadership skills for campers from ages 8–17.

Resident Camps (Overnight)

Four week-long sessions and two 2-week sessions beginning on Sundays at 1:30 pm and ending on Fridays at 2:00 pm for ages 8–14. Campers stay in age- and gender-appropriate cabins with a maximum of 14 campers, and a minimum of two full-time staff counselors. To participate in camp activities, campers must have a recent Health History form on file, which includes a current physical performed by a licensed physician within the last 12 months.
