ELEMENTARY DAY CAMPS FOR COMPLETED K THROUGH COMPLETED 5TH GRADE

Campers will be excited to join in our interactive curriculum including indoor and outdoor games, sports, character development, reading, health and wellness. Activities include weekly field trips, on-site guests, nature activities, arts and crafts, weekly family events and so much more!

Campers will learn the values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and faith, through camp themes that change each week. If your child loves to play, learn, make new friends and do something different and exciting each week, this is the perfect camp for them.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DAY CAMP LOCATIONS:
Andover (East), Avalon Middle School (Avalon Park), Clay Springs (Apopka), Lake Sybelia (Maitland), Moss Park (Lake Nona), Orlando Gifted Academy (Winter Park), Palm Lake (Dr. Phillips), Sunset Park (Windermere/Winter Garden), Vista Lakes (Lee Vista/Airport), West Creek (Hunter’s Creek).

Fees: Registration Fee $12, Weekly $120; Register on site at your school.

Hours: Monday-Friday (camp hours vary by location)

Summer Camp Dates: June 3rd – August 2nd (ESP sites are closed May 27-31 and week of July 4th)

The Greatest Show (ESP sites closed)
May 17 – May 31, 2019
Explore everything fun that the circus has to offer. Campers can get their face painted, learn to create balloon animals, make stilts, create clown hats and ties, have popcorn relays, have a balloon stomp dance, knockdown the cans game. Campers can also compete in carnival games such as bean bag toss, baseball toss, gummy worm hunt, and clown costume relays.

Myth Busters
June 3 – June 7, 2019
All about science! Campers will have a hands on experience testing all different types of science theories such as why items sink or float, all the different ways slime is made, how a lava lamp works, making elephant toothpaste, how a parachute works, which soda explodes the highest when Mentos is added, and much more.

Field Trip: Pirate Dinner Theater (June 5 and 6, 2019)

Greek Greatness
June 10 – June 14, 2019
Explore ancient Greece and learn all about the gods and goddesses, the heroes and heroines, the gladiators, titans, and all the wonderful art and buildings they created. Create Zeus Lightning bolts, create a gladiator shield, and create their own gladiator stadium. Create Salt Dough Olympic medals, play statues.

Frozen Throw Down
June 17 – June 21, 2019
Travel all the way to the Artic and learn all about the creatures that live there. Learn how they survive in such cold climates. Test how cold the water is there with the ice cube experiment. Learn how Polar Bears survive the cold by creating blubber.  Learn to waddle like Penguins. Create paper plate penguins and polar bears. Compete in an iceberg jump.

Up, Up and Away
June 24 – June 28, 2019
Learn all about the skies above from planes, hot air balloons, parachutes, rocket ships, stars, moons, comets, and the animals that can fly there. Create your own comets with tin foil, blast off a rocket ship using alka seltzer tablets, create airplanes from clothes pins, create your own parachute, and create a hot air balloon. Track the different star constellations.

July 1 – July 5, 2019

Ultimate Ninja Showdown
July 8 – July 12, 2019
Campers will learn all about what it takes to be a Ninja. They will create their own ninja name, race through obstacle courses, create hidden messages, learn how ninjas train, create their own ninja spy tools, try to sneak through a laser trap without touching the lasers.

Field Trip: Legoland (off site)

Lost Legends
July 15 – July 19, 2019
Learn all about ancient legends throughout the world such as unicorns, fairies leprechauns, the yeti, big foot, the Loch Ness Monster, and more. Campers will also be able to create their own legends through stories and pictures. Create fairy dust, create big foot tracks, and create a Loch Ness monster puppet.

Blast From The Past
July 22 – July 26, 2019
Travel through time to learn all about what life was like in every decade. Travel out west on the Oregon Trail, create a disco ball to celebrate the 80’s, churn butter, create peace sign necklaces for the 70’s, create tin can telephones, tie dye shirts, create yarn puppets, create cosmic sun catchers, have an ultimate disco party.

Field Trip: Chocolate Kingdom Factory Tour

Holiday Explosion
July 29 – August 2, 2019
Explore what holidays throughout the world are like. Travel to China and create a Chinese New Year lantern, Celebrate Christmas by creating ornaments with playdoh, go on a “turkey hunt” for Thanksgiving, create Easter eggs, explode ghosts for Halloween, create your own Halloween monster, create a dreidel for Hanukkah.
