Our Commitment to Your Health

Dear Y Family,

As you may already know, to safeguard all in our care during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we took the unprecedented step to temporarily close our YMCA family centers on March 17 and cancel or postpone many upcoming Y programs and events.

Since that time, we have been hard at work to diligently reduce controllable costs while refocusing our efforts, facilities, and resources to proactively meet the most critical needs of our community and help keep you healthy and connected by building a virtual YMCA wellness center on our website.

Because these challenging and uncertain times have affected the way you experience the Y, we know that you may have questions about your membership and other programs. To help, we’ve provided information below in our Frequently Asked Questions section about the importance of standing with the Y if you are able, as well as a request form to adjust your membership if needed.

Even though we are apart right now, we are more together than ever. So, let’s all do our part as one community to overcome this challenge and continue to make Central Florida a better place for all, now and for generations to come.

In gratitude,

Dan Wilcox
President & CEO
YMCA of Central Florida

Membership Options

For every Y member who is able, please stand with the Y and join alongside us in whatever way you can. If you are able to continue to support our mission-critical charitable community work, we thank you for your faithfulness! You can continue your membership uninterrupted or now choose to convert your membership dues into a tax-deductible charitable donation while we remain closed. We understand that these unprecedented circumstances have resulted in unforeseen financial consequences for many of us. So, if you are unable to continue your membership at the Y during these uncertain times, we understand. We offer you the ability to place your membership on hold until we reopen without any associated change fees. We invite you to please visit the link below to let us know which membership option is best for you. Thank you for being a part of our Y family.

As a safeguard to protect our Central Florida community during the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and in line with direction provided by health agencies and government authorities, all YMCA family center locations will be closed until further notice. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this uncertain time. Please visit our FAQs page for more details and YMCA contact information.
