Sports Camps at the Y

Baseball
Baseball camp is designed to teach campers how to catch, throw, bat, and field. The focus of the camp is to have fun, meet new friends, and play in a non-competitive environment. All campers will be required to bring their own baseball mitt.

Basketball
Help your child discover their inner athlete! Campers will learn the basic fundamentals like dribbling, shooting, and passing as well as the basic principles of defense.

Flag Football
Your child will learn positions, formations, types of play, and the fundamentals of football while emphasizing good sportsmanship.

Fun and Fitness
Campers will learn about being healthy with a mixture of games, routines, and educational exercises. Your child will end camp with a newfound appreciation for physical activity and stronger arms, legs, and heart!

Futsal
Here, campers will learn the difference between traditional soccer and futsal while they do drills and scrimmage to continue improving their footwork.

Multi-Sports
Your child will play flag football, soccer, basketball, and other sports! Multi-sports camp is designed to teach campers sports and the value of exercise.

Soccer
Let your child play the most popular sport in the world and improve their skills! Campers learn the rules of the game and get a kickstart on the important concept of team building as they learn skills, do drills, and scrimmage to get a feel for the flow of soccer.

Tennis
Our tennis training camp is designed to help campers understand and grow with the basic skills of tennis. Lessons will focus on serving, rallies, scoring, and playing points. We will be using equipment and lesson plans from the USTA’s Next Generation Tennis program.

Volleyball
Campers will learn the fundamentals of serving, bumping, and setting as well as values like and teamwork and individual development.

Tumbling/Yoga
This camp will give your child the ultimate gymnastics experience with the strength and stretching during a brief yoga session each day.

Cheer
We have spirit, how about you! Campers will learn new cheers, dance routines, and practice their tumbling skills every day.

How to Register for a Sports Camp

Please note, you cannot register a child for multiple camp sessions during the same week.

  • Use filters like date and zip code to narrow your search and find the right camp for your child and your YMCA family center.
  • Once you’ve found the camp you want to register your child for, click the green Add to Cart button. Then, you’ll see a shopping cart appear in the top right corner of your screen.
  • To finish registering, click the cart icon to review your selection(s) and complete the checkout process.

Extending Camp Sessions

Do you want to extend your child’s day at camp? We offer morning, evening, and full-day camp extensions! Once you have added your camp(s) to the cart, you can add extensions when you need them.
