Winter Retreat at Camp Wewa
January 18 – 20, 2019

Camp Wewa’s Winter Retreat is a “mini” version of the Christian Values Conference, held right here by the YMCA of Central Florida. YMCA Winter Retreat Conference brings together teens from across Florida, to discover their values through discussion, team building, outdoor adventure challenges, games and so much more.

Arthur “Pappy” Kennedy Prayer Breakfast
January 21, 2019

Each year the YMCA of Central Florida brings community members and leaders together to celebrate the lives and legacies of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Arthur “Pappy” Kennedy. This event is a great opportunity to develop stronger, more integrated communities, provide support for people and families, and promote positive change overall.

Celebration of Prayer
April 18, 2019

Celebration of Prayer is a breakfast that is held each year during Holy Week. It is a unique opportunity to celebrate the YMCA’s Christian heritage and mission that has guided our organization for over 150 years. Join us in a celebration that will strengthen the spirit of our community, while hearing from our guest speaker.

Healthy Kids Day
April 27, 2019

Healthy Kids Day is a day filled with family activities that is open to members of the community. We know how important it is to keep kids moving and learning all summer long. On Healthy Kids Day, we’re helping parents kick off an awesome, active summer for the kids and kick start a healthier, happier lifestyle for the whole family.

YMCA Safety Around Water

Safety Around Water
May 28 – 31, 2019

Safety Around Water is a 5-day introductory swim program for youth ages 5–12 years-old. Each day, children will enjoy water safety education and character development lessons in a safe, structured environment. The program is free, open to the public and will be offered at YMCA Family Centers across Central Florida.

July 13th – 19th, 2019

For one week each summer, teens from across the United States come together at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly to explore their personal values, share in spiritual fellowship, and develop friendships.
