POOL ALERT

YMCA Offering Complimentary Swim Instruction to Prevent Childhood Drowning

With pools, lakes and beaches all around us, drowning is a leading cause of death among Florida kids, ages 1 - 14.   To help kids stay safe in and around the water this summer, the YMCA of Central Florida is offering 10,000 complimentary swim lessons to children ages 4 to 12 during our Safety Around Water event, April 25-28.  Introductory lessons will be provided by certified Y swim instructors, who will teach basic stroke development, personal safety water survival skills.
