Whether you miss “suiting up” or are new to team sports, the Y’s sports leagues and recreation programs provide a perfect opportunity to get active, get social and get connected with a sport you love. Adult programs include basketball, racquetball, volleyball, competitive swimming, running clubs and more.

And YMCA Youth Sports programssoccer, t-ball, flag football, basketball and cheerleading ─ develop more than skills. They develop character. With the help of great coaches and mentors, we instill the positive values, teamwork and confidence kids need to thrive.

Adult Basketball League

18+ Adult basketball league officiated by certified referees. Leagues consist of a minimum of 8 games.

Adult Basketball Organized Pick UP

Adult organized pick up in the morning, lunchtime and evening. Controlled games promoting positive competition in a safe environment.

Adult Soccer League

Adult soccer leagues are controlled referee games. Leagues consist of a minimum of 8 games.

College/Career Athletic Development

Ages 18 and up with the interest to increase overall athleticism, reduce injury, and improve overall strength and speed. 10 week program

Y Soccer Club is a developmental focused competitive level soccer program that is offered as a supplement to existing YMCA recreational soccer programs. Contact the Avalon Park or Dr. Philips YMCA for tryouts!

Kids get to explore basic and intermediate tumbling and floor exercises, done on mats, which help develop balance, coordination

Players learn the basic fundamentals of football such as passing, catching, running, and following plays and showcase their talents in weekly games promoting good sportsmanship and teamwork.
